About the authors:
Jinny Bromberg is a court certified interpreter with more than 17 years of experience. She is also qualified as an interpreter for the U.S. Department of State. She is the CEO of Bromberg & Associates, an award-winning translation and interpretation company. As a head of a language service provider, she is dedicated to developing interpreter training and education. In 2003, Jinny established on-site training courses for Michigan interpreters.
Bromberg & Associates developed and published Medical and Interpreter Training Guides and Linguistic Resources for a number of language combinations. In 2009, Jinny has launched an online language-specific training program InterpreterEducationOnline.com. She has published several articles on language access and interpreter training, and presented at various regional and national conferences, including NAJIT and NCIHC.
In 2012, Jinny was interviewed by Hamtramck Review.
David R. Haslam moved to Michigan from England in 1988. A marketing professional, David authored “The Twitter Workbook” in 2009. He trains, consults, and is the publisher at HMSI Publishing LLC.
